In high school, I was the member of a club called "The Secret Organization of Silly People". Each member of the club had an official nickname, and my best friends, Jamie and Mark, bestowed "Tweezer" upon me. I don't remember why they gave me that name, but it might have had something to do with my big nose, which they were frequently making fun of. I didn't appreciate the big nose jokes, but I liked "Tweezer" enough that I came to identify my silly side with it. We got to wear neat tshirts with SOOSP on the front and our nicknames on the back. Yeah, we gave the jocks a run for their money, I'll tell ya.
