1.) Create a social circle(s) (if not already created) that includes the people you want to privately share with.
2.) Create the probe that you want to privately share.
3) Set the "Who is this probe about" section of the thing to "Self".
4) In the "Who can view and/or respond to this probe" section of the probe, check "View" only for the social circle referred to in step #1.
5) Click "Save". Only registered users in your social circle will be able to view the new probe and its responses.
