There's a cool service you can use to produce the perfect avatar for use with I Net Self. It's a lot of steps, but very easy and well worth the effort:
1) Sign in to http://evolver.com
2) Go to "My Dashboard"->"Avatars" and click on "Create a New Avatar"
3) Click on "Upload Image"
4) In "Image to clone from:", browse to a file that meets the specified image and file requirements
5) Fill in the remaining fields and click "Upload"
6) Click to place the guide points per instructions. You can move them if needed and/or use the yellow rectangle on the mini-map to access different areas of the photo.
7) Click "Clone" when all guide points have been placed (counter is zero)
8) Wait several minutes until you receive an alert that your clone is ready
9) Click "View" (or "Ignore" and go to "My Dashboard"->"Clones") and click "Use" for the clone you just created
10) In the resulting popup, select "Start a new avatar" and click "Use"
11) In the avatar edit page, you can adjust "Face", "Skin", "Eyes", "Hair", "Body", and "Clothing" using the corresponding tabs
12) Click "Transport" when you are done
13) In the resulting popup, type a name for the avatar and click "Save"
14) Click "Create Now" under "Create an Image, Animation or Clip ..."
15) Select "Breathing" for the action, "Medium" for "Size", and "Animated" for "Output"; then click "Create"
16) Wait several minutes until you receive an alert popup that your avatar is ready
17) Click "View" (or "Ignore" and go to "My Dashboard"->"Avatars") and click "Download" for the avatar you just created
18) Click "Download". If you aren't prompted to save, right-click on the resulting animation and save it to your computer
19) Now go to the "Avatar" tab on your I Net Self profile page and upload the file you just saved as your avatar
